Background
Illustration Gifts are an online gifts retailer specialising in the supply of limited run items featuring the designs of illustrators and artists. The client approached We Are Web to develop a more sophisticated website which would include both an eCommerce platform and a members area where illustrators and artists could upload their work to the website for display on the site.
Solution
The primary objective of the Illustration Gifts website was to generate revenue from sales over the site as well as attracting artists and illustrators to carry their designs on the featured products.
We Are Web developed a php solution which included a full Content Management system for the client to update the site, an eCommerce platform including shopping basket and link to payment gateway Paypal and a password protected area for the use of artists and illustrators.
Results
We Are Web produced the website in time and in on budget and are currently working with the client on a number of other exciting eCommerce based projects.
