Sick of reading copy packed full of meaningless business jargon? Finding it difficult writing material for your PR and marketing campaigns without using terminology only people in your company or industry will understand?
Yes, it’s a common problem faced by many business professionals. But don’t fret, help is at hand.

For those of you in the business of links building, readers who have a passion for copy writing and others who just enjoy writing, I wanted to tell you about a new site I discovered this morning.
Whilst submitting an article to the popular ArticlesDashboard article site I was sent a link to HowHub. As users of article sites will be aware, the main revenue stream for these websites often comes from context sensitive sponsored links advertising (e.g. Google Adsense) whichRead More…

I came across a useful website called DISQUS today whilst leaving a comment on a blog post.
DISQUS allows you to set up one profile for use when commenting on blogs so that you do not have to use a generic profile. It’s quite a handy free service if you (like me) have a lot to say and comment on a lot of blogs on a daily basis.
All comments and replies can be tracked through one single account and the serviceRead More…

For those of you who use the Mozilla browser you will be aware of the various useful plug-ins that are available as an add on. One of my favorites is Wisestamp.
This handy helper enables you to create a rich text (html) signature for use in various web based mail services such as Googlemail, Yahoo and Hotmail. For those reading this who use Microsoft Outlook you may be wondering what all the fuss is about but for those using web mailRead More…

Having built a number of sites in Wordpress I recently decided to take the plunge with Drupal in order to see how it stood up to the excellent Wordpress platform.
Expecting Drupal to be more advanced that Wordpress I was quite surprised to find that it wasn’t particularly straight forward to set up. I thought it would be worthwhile posting this guide to some of the key areas I had identified as either being confusing or not what I expected.
I haveRead More…

Sad to read that Microsoft is to support the Internet Explorer 6 browser until 2014. For those reading this who have had some involvement in web design you will know that this browser is far from popular amongst developers and designers due to the high number of well documented bugs it contains.
I am pleased to read that a group of developers has decided to form an action group:
