For those of you who use the Mozilla browser you will be aware of the various useful plug-ins that are available as an add on. One of my favorites is Wisestamp.
This handy helper enables you to create a rich text (html) signature for use in various web based mail services such as Googlemail, Yahoo and Hotmail. For those reading this who use Microsoft Outlook you may be wondering what all the fuss is about but for those using web mail instead (a good alternative as it can be accessed from any remote location) it provides a much needed facility.
An added benefit of Wisestamp is that you can also include links to your profiles on social networking sites such as LinkedIn and Facebook to name but a few. The list of sites which can be added is impressive – there are even a few I haven’t heard of before!
Another nice feature is that you can have two signatures set up – one for personal use and one for business.
You can even run RSS syndicated feeds of information at the bottom of your emails, this is something I am soon to add – a great addition to your business emails if you have a blog for example.
