Background
Alice Wolfbauer is a London based costume designer, We Are Web were approached to develop a new website which would showcase the clients’ unique portfolio of work spanning areas as diverse as music videos and theatre. A primary objective of any new website is that it would include the facility for updating and adding new portfolio projects as well as providing a platform for multimedia content.
Solution
A clean and simple design featuring bespoke Flash animation was chosen for the website in order to complement rather than compete with the client’s unique and often striking work.
A comprehensive Content Management System with integrated blog was designed to enable easy updating of content on a regular basis. The portfolio section of the website houses a Flash based multimedia player capable of displaying content from an internal media gallery or external websites such as YouTube. The ability to feed in external multimedia content was important due to the size and length of some of the content to be included on the website (full music videos for example).
